Mathew 8:13 NIV: “Then Jesus said to the centurion, ‘Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.’ And his servant was healed at that moment.”
GIGS Journal Entry: What about the one being healed? How did they feel having others reach out for them. Not asking for their own needs, but the needs of them. I am feeling this way today. As I have read of so many people praying for me as I go through this cancer fighting journey. It is hard to be the one prayed for. It is humbling.
But how does it feel to be the servant and the others in the Bible that were healed? First they felt euphoria to be healed, to
feel better. Showing gratitude to those that reached out for them and prayed for them. They praised Jesus and served others. But how long before everyday life just took over again? How long before having good health is just expected?
So often when we have something it’s just easy to think it will always be there. I guess today is just a reminder to be grateful for all that you have, but have forgotten to enjoy!
Prayer: Thank you Lord for all of your people praying for me and giving me strength on this journey. That you for this energetic day I have ahead of me. Grant me your healing power.
