I awoke to the trees covered with a layer of frost and the sun reflecting off the branches. It was beautiful and peaceful. Just looking out the window brought a smile to my face.
I realized that it took a storm to create this beautiful day. The day before we had a snowstorm that left over 8 inches of new snow on the ground. During the storm travel was difficult.
Weather is like life! There are storms in life that we have to plow through or wait out. At times just getting through each day is difficult. When the storm ends, we just continue on, thankful to be back to normal. Do we take a moment to see what the storm left behind? Perhaps it is a day filled with beauty and peace.
